NetWare Installation Prerequisites

Make sure the following components are present on the locations listed below

before installing the QLconfig NetWare Agent:

❑ On the Windows NT/2000 Client:

❑ NetWare Client software (from Novell)

❑ Network protocols:

NWLink IPX/SPX-compatible transport

NWLink NetBios

❑ Drive letter mapped to the root of the SYS Volume of the NetWare server.

By default, the NetWare Client maps to sys\system or sys\public; however,

you must set the root of SYS Volume by assigning a drive letter to sys:\.

NOTE: You must be logged on as an administrator.

❑ On the NetWare Server:

❑ NetWare 5.x server with support pack NW5SP4

NetWare 4.2 server with support pack NW4SP8a

❑ QL2200.HAM version 5.40s or later

❑ QL2100.HAM version 5.40s or later
